Our opportunity

We are looking for experienced tutors to provide small group and one to one tutoring to young people across a range of study programmes. You will work closely with curriculum teams to help identified young people fill gaps in their learning and overcome academic barriers, supporting them to make progress and achieve. The role will be pivotal in ensuring that our young people can achieve their learning goals and move on to positive destinations in what has been one of the most challenging years for this generation.

The role:

• One to one and small support for students across all programmes (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 A Level and Vocational)
• Support a diverse cohort of ambitious young people to achieve
• Support students to develop academic and personal study habits
• Help to boost literacy and extended writing skills and oracy skills
• Support students with revision skills and exam technique

You will need:

• Applicants must be suitably qualified with some teaching or tutoring experience. However, applicants who have extensive & relevant experience will also be considered.
• To be passionate about making a positive influence on young people who require additional support
• Be able to effectively engage and manage students.
• Be able to work flexibly with occasional weekend working
